Welcome to Vet Tech at Your Door, founded in 2022 by Stephanie, a passionate and experienced registered veterinary technician. We specialize in providing nursing care and grooming services for a wide variety of animals, including pocket pets, cats, dogs, and birds, all in the comfort of your own home.
At Vet Tech at Your Door, we have a special place in our hearts for special needs, behavioral, and senior pets. We understand the unique challenges these pets face and are dedicated to ensuring they are as comfortable and stress-free as possible during their care.

Stephanie
Meet Stephanie, the heart and soul behind Vet Tech at Your Door. Stephanie’s journey in veterinary care began when she graduated from the veterinary technician program at Algonquin College and passed her registration exam in 2011. Over the next decade, she honed her skills and expertise in several small animal clinics across Ontario, specializing in general medicine, specialty surgery, and rehabilitation.
In 2022, Stephanie founded Vet Tech at Your Door, driven by her realization of the need for mobile pet care services to enhance patient care beyond the confines of a hospital setting. Her vision was to bridge the gap between hospital care and the comfort of home, ensuring that pets receive the best possible care in a familiar environment.
Outside of her professional life, Stephanie finds joy in nature and spends her days with her wife and their four dogs. Her passion extends to rescuing potcakes from overseas, a cause close to her heart. Stephanie also has a soft spot for anything dachshund-related, adding a touch of whimsy to her love for animals.

Meet Alyssa, our dedicated assistant at Vet Tech at Your Door. Alyssa plays a crucial role during our appointments, ensuring the safety and happiness of your beloved pets by expertly restraining them when needed.
Alyssa’s passion for animals, especially Great Danes, dates back to her childhood. Her love for these gentle giants has only grown stronger over the years, driving her to pursue a career where she can make a difference in the lives of animals.
Working alongside Stephanie, Alyssa has found inspiration and a newfound passion for grooming. Her experience at Vet Tech at Your Door has sparked a dream within her – to become a groomer herself one day. Alyssa’s dedication and care shine through in everything she does, making her an invaluable part of our team.
